pooling all accounts of peace while passed beneath the canopy glow

1 p.m.    [The Coffee Pub]

It just dimmed outside, that is, the clouds moved in and the leaves are swirling excitedly in anticipation of the deep, grey rain-beauty on it’s way. This scene calms  and excites me all at once.

The lights inside are glowing now, illuminating their unnoticed reflections in the flooring, as if a canopy of stars has arisen beneath our feet [we are (always) on holy ground].

The Rain and it’s inescapable magic will mericifully never leave us dry.

There are very few that  know the sacred secrets of this heart journey happening before their eyes. Often, and gracefully, I am not one of them.

“To guide us toward the love that we most desire, we must be taken where we could not and would not go on our own. And lest we sabotage the journey, we must not know where we are going. Deep in the darkness, way beneath our senses, God is instilling “another, better love” and “deeper, more urgent longings” that empower our willingness for all the unnecessary relinquishments along the way.”
